Winchester USA ammunition is always a safe bet for plinking, training and target shooting. This 5.56x45 ammo should function reliably in all semi-automatic rifles, carbines and pistols, and at 150 rounds to a box (four boxes to a case) it’s easy to plop down at your range stall and get right to work!

The 55 grain full metal jacket is the same bullet you would find in our military’s 5.56 M193 cartridge. Its inability to deliver terminal expansion does make the FMJ less suitable for home defense than many other types of bullets, but it will still get the job done in a trice. If you take this target grade ammo to the range, you’ll still appreciate its bullet’s hard and smooth feeding jacket, cannelure which preserves seating depth under the force of recoil, and lack of any materials which could attract a magnet.

This ammunition is non-corrosive, clean-shooting, Boxer-primed and reloadable. Its brass cases are noticeably discolored where they were annealed for greater suppleness and durability. That will not affect performance – Winchester doesn’t polish their military grade brass cases because soldiers typically don’t want to be surrounded by reflective metal that could signal their position to the enemy.
