Don’t confuse 9mm NATO ammo for regular old 9mm or 9mm +P. When a 9mm round is loaded to NATO specifications, that means its maximum chamber pressure is 36,500 psi. As such, its chamber pressure is intermediate to the standard pressure load (35,000 psi) and the overpressure load (38,500 psi).

Why choose 9mm NATO for target practice? Because it offers a somewhat flatter trajectory than 9mm, albeit with less recoil than 9mm +P. It’s also due to place less stress on a semi-automatic’s moving parts than 9mm +P!

This ammo is loaded with 124 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Each bullet wears a nonmagnetic copper-alloy jacket over its solid lead core, and has an aerodynamic round nose profile. The FMJ won’t expand if it enters into a soft medium, though it’s due to do a little more damage courtesy of its higher muzzle velocity and resultant stronger striking energy.

This ammo’s propellant burns clean. Its Boxer primers will not rust out your firearm. Its cases are fresh out of Winchester’s factory, and have the consistent dimensions and durability they need in order to capably serve a handloader’s purposes!
