This ammo has all the same kinds of components that you’d expect from the Russian brands. That includes steel cases, of course, which are bound to save you money by sheer virtue of the fact that they don’t contain any copper. We know what you’re thinking. “Aren’t steel cases not reloadable? Aren’t steel cases capable of letting more carbon fouling into the action, thus necessitating more cleaning?” That’s correct! Those are the trade-offs for avoiding the costlier brass-cased stuff, but in our opinion they’re well worth it.

This ammo’s 124 grain full metal jacket projectiles will attract a magnet. They have bimetal jackets, which are made of steel with the exception of their very thin copper-washed surfaces. Don’t order this ammo if you’re all excited to fire it at a range which prohibits magnetic ammo. That’s a surefire recipe for disappointment, and we can’t stand disappointment here at Target Barn.

This ammo’s Berdan primers aren’t corrosive. No worries! They spark up to deliver a muzzle velocity between 2,329 to 2,379 fps (we cited the average of those velocities in this product description).
