This cartridge’s 140 grain full metal jacket boat tail bullet features a nonmagnetic lead core and brass jacket, and clears a 21.75” barrel at a velocity of 2,658 fps. The bullet’s 0.491 G1 ballistic coefficient (0.247 G7) means that its trajectory will peak at 2.85” en route to 200 yards; 6.90” to 300 yards; 13.25” to 400 yards; and 22.42” to 500 yards (that’s not taking sight height into account). The bullet should also remain supersonic and rotationally stable until it passes 1,124 yards.
