This Czech-made cartridge features the 44’s popular 240 grain projectile, which is poised to achieve a muzzle velocity of 1,280 fps upon departing from a 6” barrel. As a semi-jacketed hollow point, the rim of the lead core’s nose cavity isn’t confined by the bullet’s gilding metal jacket. That enables the bullet to spread out wider and faster, even when relatively less momentum is backing it up. The SJHP’s partial jacket does make it strong enough to penetrate deeply, however, so you can trust it to slap a boar’s belly straight into the ground.

Sellier & Bellot’s high-quality brass cases and flat nose profile bullets make this ammo just as reliable in revolvers as it does lever-action rifles. Noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder will preserve your firearm’s accuracy and functionality while you’re out in the field!
