This cartridge’s 180 grain bullet’s 1,165 fps muzzle velocity was recorded with a 6” test barrel instead of the usual 5”. You can expect a lower muzzle velocity if you’ve got something with a shorter barrel like the Glock 20, which should cut down on the amount of recoil and accompanying muzzle rise that you have to endure. The jacketed hollow point is built for personal protection applications, as the cavern in its tip and the notches in its jacket both equip the bullet to score a significantly bigger wound channel than one that is only 0.4” in diameter.
