This Remington Golden Saber ammunition is an excellent carry load when paired with handguns capable of firing .45 ACP +P ammo. Golden Saber bullets have several notable features including a spiral-cut hollowpoint design intended work with a bullet's spinning to produce reliable expansion. The bullet's brass jacket provides strong penetration, helping to ensure that the projectile stops assailants quickly by successfully reaching vital areas.

Each cartridge in this 25-round box fires a relatively lightweight 185-grain Golden Saber JHP at a muzzle velocity of 1,140 feet per second. This combination of a light bullet fired at a high velocity promotes faster expansion and keeps felt recoil to a manageable (though still above average) level. These rounds perform particularly well in full-sized handguns such as 1911s and the SIG P220.
