Magpul's PMAG 40 gives AR lovers another 10 rounds to play with for only 2-1/8 inches more height over a standard PMAG! That makes this magazine great for 3-Gun matches, self-defense, or pure fun on the range. The PMAG 40 is compatible with the AR-15, SCAR-L, or any other rifles with compatible magazine wells that are chambered in .223 Remington, 5.56mm NATO, or .300 AAC Blackout. As with the standard PMAG 30, this 40-rounder is designed with continuous curve technology which promotes proper feeding and reliable function at any angle.

This performance is bolstered further by the magazine's impact-resistant body, stainless steel spring, and anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower. Each magazine can be easily disassembled for cleaning and debris removal after a long trek in the field and is designed to let moisture drain away on a rainy day. Magpul gives these magazines the Generation M3 treatment with a rear spine bump which prevents over insertion and a paint pen dot matrix at the base of the magazine. The dot matrix allows shooters to personally mark or pattern their magazines so that they aren't mixed with others at club events or classes.
