The FTX’s streamlined nose profile and secant ogive jacket make it abnormally aerodynamic. Once the 160 grain 0.330 G1 ballistic coefficient projectile clears a 24” barrel at a velocity of 2,400 fps, its trajectory to 200 yards will elevate by just 3.11” (1.5” sight height). At that range the bullet will strike with over 1,305 ft lbs of kinetic energy – up to 40 percent harder than a traditional flat nose projectile!

The FTX puts its energy to good use. Its pliant Flex Tip compresses within its nose cavity to force highly uniform positive expansion inside game. And thanks to the FTX’s thick jacket and InterLock ring (which attaches the jacket to the bullet’s high-antimony lead core), the FTX is equipped to penetrate to an effective depth to kill medium game as well.
