Hunters looking to keep recoil at a manageable level will find much to like in this "LITE" ammunition from Hornady. These cartridges can be used in any of the numerous rifles chambered in .308 Winchester.

Each round in this box of 20 fires a 125 grain SST polymer-tipped bullet at 2,675 feet per second. The SST is an aerodynamic design with a locked core and jacket that ensures good weight retention and efficient energy transfer. The relatively light bullet is a key reason for this load's reduced recoil. While not ideal for big game like bear or elk, it delivers superb terminal performance against whitetail deer and other thin-skinned midsize game.
