This ammunition wasn’t made for the U.S. Armed Forces (hence its nice packaging), but it’s super close to the M193 spec loads that are handed out for free at Army rifle ranges. The cartridge’s 55 grain full metal jacket erupts out of a barrel at a velocity of 3,240 fps – perfectly average for its weight category. Neither the bullet’s lead core nor its copper-alloy jacket contain any steel, so go ahead and open up your AR-style rifle at any indoor range you feel like brightening up with your presence.

This ammo is loaded with new and reloadable brass cases. You can tell the cases were annealed correctly because they are still visibly discolored around their necks and shoulders. Fiocchi hasn’t touched a corrosive primer in several decades, so you’re all set to rock out some target shooting and clean your rifle up normally afterward.
