This shell is loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of #7.5 shot. First, their cushioned wad helps to absorb some kinetic energy throughout ignition. Second, this round’s clean-burning powder is measured to produce a relatively tepid 1,165 fps muzzle velocity.

Fiocchi’s same cushioned wad is also engineered to promote greater pattern density. And because this shell’s shot pellets are made of first-run chilled lead – which is too rigid to deform when subjected to intense pressure – they stay round enough to produce a thick and effective pattern!
