You’ve got to be cautious of splash-back when you’re shooting steel, which this round takes care of famously thanks to its 220 grain Total Synthetic Jacket projectile. The bullet has got no copper that could fly back at you after impact, or foul your pistol’s bore for that matter. The TSJ creates so little friction that it makes a valuable barrel last longer as well!

This round’s bullet has the flattened meplat which does a better job of lying out a steel target. It’s also designed to reduce the sort of recoil which makes you feel a long shooting session in your wrist and complicates accurate rapid fire, but it still achieves the kind of muzzle velocity you’d expect from your 45 ACP.
