HST bullets are mechanically locked to prevent core-jacket separation and expand into six sharp petals as they strike an attacker for superior energy transfer.

Each cartridge in this box fires a medium weight 124 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,150 feet per second. This is a standard pressure load that provides balanced performance and relatively low felt recoil; it is a great choice for subcompact carry handguns and those not rated for +P ammo.

Federal HST ammo is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases.
