As an XM855, this round’s 62 grain projectile is comprised of a full metal jacket, lead core, and steel penetrator tip as indicated by its green meplat. This bullet further sports a boat tail design, so its high ballistic coefficient will give you the flattened trajectory and greater downrange velocity needed for accurate shooting.
