This ammunition is supersonic courtesy of its 150 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Each bullet possesses nothing more than a lead core and a gilding metal jacket – i.e. no steel that could draw it to a magnet. The FMJ won’t expand if it hits soft tissue, but we wouldn’t want to be the ground squirrel who gets hit by one.
