This steel-cased ammunition from Hornady was originally designed for police training use, which makes sense when you consider that law enforcement agencies don't tend to reload their ammo. Each cartridge in this case of 500 fires a 220 grain FMJ flat pointed bullet at a muzzle velocity of 975 feet per second, with comparable external ballistics to Hornady Critical Duty ammo.

These cartridges should be used only in firearms capable of firing +P ammunition. Like other Hornady products, it is loaded in Grand Island, Nebraska using non-corrosive primers.
