This ammo fires a 230 grain plated full metal jacket bullet at a relatively slow muzzle velocity of 830 feet per second. As a standard pressure load, it works great in compact and older firearms.

This ammo's plated bullet design provides full encapsulation of the lead core for reduced airborne lead exposure, making it ideal for indoor shooting. However, plated rounds should not be fired in guns with ported barrels due to shearing issues.

CCI Blazer Brass ammunition is made in Lewiston, Idaho using non-corrosive CCI small pistol primers and reloadable brass cases.
