We make every effort to minimize shipping costs for the customer. We utilize US Postal Service, United Parcel Service, and motor freight, choosing the most practical method available. However, sometimes customers are still surprised at their charge for shipping, since our website does not show the shipping charge when the order is placed. Following are the guidelines we use for shipments:
- Small orders for gun parts, DVD’s, small quantities of pasters, and other light weight items are shipped US Postal, either First Class or Priority.
- Bullets may ship by US Postal Flat Rate Boxes, or UPS depending on how many are ordered and how far you are from Ohio.
- Cardboard targets usually ship via UPS. They are heavy and bulky, and get expensive when going west of the Rockies. On orders of 1,200 or more, motor freight might be less expensive, and we should consider that option.
- Next Day Air and Second Day Air are available for emergencies, but get very expensive, especially on cardboard targets.
- Shipping to a full-time business (not a business in your home) will usually save $2.00-3.00 per carton when shipping by UPS. You must specify the business name and address in the “Ship To” location on the order form.
- If you are concerned about the shipping cost for your order, send us an email BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER telling what you plan to order, and where you are located. We will reply by email with a shipping cost estimate. Please put FREIGHT QUOTE in the subject line of your email. This may delay your order being processed quickly.
- We do not add a “handling charge” to the freight costs. Our thousands of regular customers trust us to be fair with the shipping costs, and we are.

We are a full time business serving shooters for over 30 years. Our customers include police departments, gun dealers, shooting clubs, colleges with Criminal Justice training programs, government agencies like the Army, Navy, FBI, and Secret Service, and of course individual shooters throughout the U.S., Canada, and South America.
Our specialty is manufacturing the highest quality cardboard targets used in various action-shooting disciplines and police training. These targets are all 
made from brand new sheets of corrugated board; not the recycled cardboard boxes used by some competitors. New corrugated board offers better strength in severe weather or rough handling, and produces cleaner holes for easier scoring. All targets are boxed to reduce the chance of damage during shipping.
We are licensed to produce targets for the following organizations, and pay them a royalty on each target sold:

In addition to our line of cardboard targets, we stock a wide variety of paper targets for both pistol and rifle shooting, and police training and qualification. We are stocking distributor for NRA official targets manufactured by National Target Company.
Target Barn is now proud to be a stocking distributor for the entire line of COMPETITIVE EDGE DYNAMICS electronic range timers, chronographs, scales, and other related shooting accessories. We also have the new, larger, hot-selling Target Barn Professional Range Bag, available in four colors. Other products stocked include target pasters and patching tape in several colors and sizes, a complete line of hard cast lead bullets and Zero Bullet Co. jacketed bullets, Pistol Pro Grip Enhancer, and a new line of welded steel target stands in six different styles at GREAT PRICES!
Finally, we have just added a complete line of parts and accessories for GLOCK and Springfield XD pistols. These include Genuine Glock standard and hi-capacity magazines, plus over 100 items from Lone Wolf Distributors, Ghost, Fobus, Pearce, and other quality companies.
